Here Today, Gone Tomorrow

   The flowers of summer, that is.  We have had an unusually long fall, but sadly tomorrow the killing frost comes, followed by a freeze this weekend.  Here are some late bloomers to feast our eyes upon until spring.

  2. I hate it when the last of the blooms freeze over. It only means that ol' man winter is not far from our doorsteps. Stay warm!!!

  6. I've noticed that the colors of the trees in Illinois right now is not as vibrant as they were last year. I wonder why. I do love these photos of your beautiful flowers though.
