Perfection

Wild Columbine

Jack-in-the-Pulpit
This feather-light tiny nest fell out of a huge
spruce tree.  I don't know if it was
finished yet.

Have a perfect day!

  1. Thank you. I have never seen wild columbine before. Maybe it doesn't grow in Poland. I must check

    1. I'm hoping it blew out of the tree and she started over! It's like nothing - it could float away on the slightest puff of wind.

  3. Lovely blossoms and a nest of fine quality; let's hope that the birds found another good home.

  4. Oh poor thing, all that hard work! I groom the dogs on our field so the birds can use their fur to make their nests. People think I'm nuts so there's nowt new there then lol x

  5. Beautiful. For some reason your comment reminds me of the movie, The Last Samurai. After the Samurai, Katsumoto is badly injured, he commits seppuku on the battlefield as the honourable way to die. Before he expires, he looks up and sees the beautiful sakura blossoms gently fluttering in the light breeze and utters 'perfect'. That scene always brings a tear to my eye.
