The Return of Winter

LATE MARCH SNOW STORM

Rowdy old codger
Crashing the party
Weighting down tree
Limbs and high spirits, putting
Spring fever on ice.

Yesterday

Today, seven inches of snow.

I wonder what tomorrow will bring.

Thanks for visiting my blog. I love to read your comments and I will visit your blog in return.

  3. Oh I feel sorry for those delicate pretty crocuses. It's not fair. They shouldn't be covered with snow, it's their time to bloom.

  5. I think this weird weather system that seems to get worse every year of late is called - "Climate Change".
Take control of the "polluters" ( multi-national corporations) and the weather may in 1,000 years
get back to what the seasons are expected to be like! But pink pigs will take over the skies before
    that happens.
The daily rain storms that we are experiencing here in Brisbane are just not the "norm" for this
time of year - thankfully here no hail or fierce winds are associated, but the northern area of the continent
    is still copping cyclonic batterings.
Ah: Good news on the Beethoven choralists - "Bloody crows".
I think they must be in mourning after the death of the head honcho!
Or better still they have mass suicided with a kamakasise (??) dive into
the Pacific or migrated to the north Pole!!!

I am sure the flowering crocus will reappear in full active bloom.

I really do feel so sorry for you being so snowed in AGAIN! - especially
after your sunny time in Savannah, Ga.

    Cheers
