I noticed the tree in my yard is starting to bloom even though it's been hovering right around 30 here as well during the daytime and ten or more degrees colder at night. Why do I live here? I have family, grown children and grandchildren I want to be close to. They better appreciate it because I so wish I could be enjoying the weather of Hawi'i year round. :-)Lois@Living In Denimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16368939902298894344noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8791768581127769171.post-57635314835078380962015-03-23T12:48:12.740-07:002015-03-23T12:48:12.740-07:00Ah disappointing I guess when Spring has been wave...Ah disappointing I guess when Spring has been waved under your nose, but you will appreciate it all the more coming out from under a blanket of snow.Anne@ArtyGreen in Paradise https://www.blogger.com/profile/09611134831811637266noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8791768581127769171.post-71519781512584067352015-03-23T03:36:28.020-07:002015-03-23T03:36:28.020-07:00A pity to have some snow again, poor crocuses inde...A pity to have some snow again, poor crocuses indeed but they will survive I hope.biebkriebelshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01539958495933835606noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8791768581127769171.post-38533106636956977432015-03-23T02:20:33.823-07:002015-03-23T02:20:33.823-07:00Wow! I think the head honcho crow must have died!
Such a pity that the whole colony didn't decide on a mass suicide in sympathy!!! The very annoyed residents around
here would have only been too happy to dig a pit to dump them in!
Every time I see a bloody crow - I recall from my rural young days seeing new born lambs and even calves having their
eyes plucked out before the ewe or cow could stand up to protect.

Anyhow for you - take joy - the appearance of the blooms - means Spring and soon warmer weather.
Cheers
Aussie ColHuggybearhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17517411617275367396noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8791768581127769171.post-48634251461967729512015-03-22T13:37:26.316-07:002015-03-22T13:37:26.316-07:00I can't believe you're getting that much s...I can't believe you're getting that much snow and ice again.
