‘Well, Hello There!’

‘Who are you?’

‘Let me get a closer look.’

‘Got anything to eat in those pockets?’

The friendly donkeys were in a big paved parking lot of an abandoned business that we often drive by. There never were donkeys here before!
As we were leaving, a man opened a gate and began leading the donkeys away down the road on leashes.
Maybe he needed a temporary parking place for his donkeys???
Who knows!

The tulip trees say we are done with winter.

I drew you a little picture of where I’ve mostly been the last couple weeks. It’s not fun!  Back to physical therapy and the Epley Maneuver again tomorrow.

  1. Poor you. I've had labyrinthitis in the past and it's no fun. I've always rather liked donkeys, reminders of seaside days as a child.

  2. Oh goodness. What a bummer. Good luck with the procedures. I've attended a class about how that works. Linda in Kansas

  3. Two of my favorite things, donkeys and spring flowers...but the Vertigo! Oh, I am so sorry. Hope it goes away soon and you feel normal again. Vertigo is awful.

  4. Hope it works for your vertigo, I am hearing a few people complain of it this winter. Such pretty blooms, hope you get to enjoy them:) My Mom and sister both have Menieres Disease.

  5. Love the donkey's nose photo. Yuk vertigo sucks. However, the epley maneuver works. It might take a few goes. All the best hope you feel better soon.

  6. I wonder what the donkeys are used for when they are not occupying the parking lot. We see lots of horses where I live, but seldom donkeys. Good luck with your vertigo treatment. It must be an awful condition to experience.

  8. Vertigo! I'm sorry. Can't be fun at all. I know just being dizzy for a day is no fun. Can't imagine having it for weeks. Hope you're on the mend.
I'm counting down my last days here in Buffalo helping out. Dan arrives Sunday to take me home Monday. Glad to be of help but looking forward to being home again after a month away.

  9. Not fun! Both my mother and mother-in-law endured periodic episodes of vertigo that interrupted their busy lives. So thankful that didn't pass along to me. Best wishes for quick relief.

  11. Dear Cynthia, Clearly I haven't been visiting blogs enough because I had no idea you were having this problem with vertigo. Back in 2006 and 2007 I went through 10 months of acute rotational vertigo and so I absolutely understand how disconcerting this is as well as simply scary. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Peace.

  12. Oh no... you too? I also have to do the Epley maneuvers at home. I've been lazy about it lately though. Luckily, vertigo hasn't returned quite as dramatically as it did the last time.

  13. I adore donkeys. Vertigo is horrible, I hope it disappears soon for you. I hadn't heard of the goggles.
