A Problem Solved

Have you ever noticed how those wire coat hangers seem to multiply among the shirts and trousers in your closet? What to do, what to do....

Here's one solution.

When I was in London last fall, exploring the Inns of Court with Marie (http://60andthenext10.blogspot.com), we were wandering the hallways and came upon this sculpture of a happy judge. I suspect it was created by the Scottish artist, David Mach. He is a sculptor and installation artist and he makes things out of "mass-produced objects," everyday stuff like match sticks, car tires, teddy bears, playing cards and wire coat hangers.

    This stuff is unbelievable. With that much talent, I think I would make something beautiful. Oops. Maybe this is beautiful to some. :)

    I'll let you take up those two hobbies - sculptures from wire coat hangers and faces from whatever is handy.
    My spare bloody wire coat hangers get so darn tangled - maybe a ghostly spirit in the built-in is having a go
    at making a similar contraption of sorts????

    I have gone to mostly plastic hangers...I can never get that 'NO more wire hangers" out of my head:(

    Very creative disposition. Good way to dispose unused wire hangers. I don't have any wire hanger now. I don't remember how I disposed them.
