Murals that evolve are something new to me. I saw these at the Midtown Global Market in Minneapolis last weekend. Images appear as you approach, and as you move along the mural, they change. When you reach the other end, they are completely different scenes.
Starting at one end ...
... it changed to this.
Another one ...
... becomes this.
The murals can be seen in the old Sears Art Deco lobby, next to The Rabbit Hole restaurant.
Oh Wow! This is so cool! Is this the Chinese zodiac. I can't quite tell.
ReplyDeleteI have no idea. Is there an owl in the Chinese zodiac? Because there was definitely an owl.
ReplyDeleteOhh, that's really great! I have not seen anything like this.
ReplyDeleteWren x
Cynthia, I love the owl very much
ReplyDeleteAmazing and impressive! I've never seen one before. Just imagine the minds that can execute such a concept.
ReplyDeleteTake 25 to Hollister
Now THAT is pretty amazing! Brilliantly captivating. I would go back and forth a lot of times before I moved on.
ReplyDeleteClever, aren't they? There are plenty here in major malls - the first timers to see them are funny.
ReplyDeleteWalking back to check what was and now what isn't! I know I did it at my first experience!
I think they also experimented with them on bill boards but that had to cease - naturally a major
distraction for drivers!
Cheers
Colin
How lovely, something different.
ReplyDeleteWell, that is certainly something different to look at. I agree that having these on billboards could be really distracting.
ReplyDeleteThey were Linda and thus removed PRONTO!
DeleteI think here now that Roadside Billboards are monitored very carefully.
Cheers
Colin
That is really cool!
ReplyDeleteSomething different.

ReplyDeleteYes that is funny to watch and clever made by the artists.

ReplyDeleteSuppercool! I've always been fascinated with murals but murals that's changing is something stunning! These are really nice, I can imagibe some funny ones, something that'll change into something funny which comes as a surprise and unexpected. I wonder if that's possible.
ReplyDeleteHi Cynthia. I came over from Far Side of Fifty. I've never seen any murals like this. Now that I know such things exist, I'll be on the look out. Enjoyed the visit and signed up to follow.
ReplyDeleteI've certainly never seen anything like these murals! You do visit some of the most interesting places. I'm glad, otherwise I would never see these things. :) Thanks!
ReplyDeleteReal works of art, I cannot imagine how they were done...but they are cool! :)
ReplyDeleteThey are really interesting. So clever. I'm sure everyone must do a double take when they first see them. Love the name of the restaurant.
