Signs of new life in my sister and brother-in-law's Chicken Palace.
Raspberry pecan scones ready for the oven and Easter breakfast after the egg hunt.
(Rasberries from the garden via the freezer)
Daffodils to pick for the table
Happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteI have never eaten Raspberry pecan scones so I would like to ger recipe. Is it possible after Eastr Dear Cynthia. Have a Blessed sunday with your family....
The little chickens, so sweet. Daffodils are lovely, I pick them for the vase also.
ReplyDeleteIs there anything any cuter than little yellow baby chicks, or ducks? Happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet picture, Happy Easter.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter! Those chicks are so cute. Raspberry pecan scones must be great.
ReplyDeleteSuch lovely signs of Spring. Happy Easter dear Cynthia!
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter. Those scones sound delicious.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter to you. The little chicks are a great Easter topic.
ReplyDeleteThe scones look very tasty.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know your sister bred chickens. They do look healthy but I guess under
those warm lights that would be expected. I suppose these are incubated chicks??
Guess what - a final day for Easter and the sun is shining! Might just stagger the returning
holiday makers and there will be less accidents. So far this year road fatalities are way up.
Patience seems to be no longer a virtue on the roads. The police and emergency services
are pulling their hair out in desperation and disgust!
Cheers
Colin

ReplyDeleteIn New Zealand Easter arrives in Autumn, and yet so many of our Easter traditions are linked to the Spring, the chickens and Easter eggs and new life in flowers. Hope you had a great Easter, bet those scones were good.
ReplyDeleteThose scones look great - I want the recipe, too! :)
ReplyDeleteWishing I had a hot scone now. (I think scones are a sweeter version of our southern biscuits. Right?)
