Decking the Halls (and the floor and the mirror and . . . .)

Christmas starts here tonight as the first of the far-away family arrives at the airport. My little guys have been very busy getting ready.

Mason found the flour and thought he would get started with some Christmas cookies.

Oops! Oh, well. We'll just mix them up right here.

"Don't worry, Nana. I'll clean that right up.

I hope Santa is watching now!"

While the Big Boys are making ornaments to hang in their room . . .

. . . Mason thought the bathroom could use a bit of cleaning. He's probably right. Four boys -- well, you know!

Aiden decorated the hall mirror upstairs with some window clings . . .

. . . while Mason used his favorite art medium to work on the family room.

"Hey, look! Is this Santa's hat?

"I'd better check and see if he is coming!"

I do hope your Christmas preparations are coming along as well, and you are being extra good.

Cuz you know, Santa is watching!

  2. Cynthia your grandchildren are lovely but boys are usually very lively and full of energy and probably not very polite. And what about yours?

  3. Well with these 4 active little helpers and the aftermath, there will be no need for you to get out into the
snow for exercising - you can do all that following your "helpers" around. I'd hide the toilet rolls if I was you - ha ha!

I suppose I better get my "Aussie Christmas tree" in place !!!! Not that it is much use in this heat.
Have fun with your 4 elves!

  7. Such a busy household! The flour on the floor and the toilet tissue decorating . . . Mason knows how to have a good time. Looks like all the boys are enjoying their time with you.

  8. Ha Ha how adorable - that's what I call one step forward and four back!!! What a wonderful Christmas you are all going to have. Let's hope Nana has been good all year and that she's got a voucher for a cleaning company in her Christmas stocking this year?! :)
Happy, Happy, Happy, Happy Christmas to you all!

  11. How cute! It brings back memories of my three grandsons at that age. The house would look like it had been turned up side down! They grow up really fast! Merry Christmas!
