Oh my goodness! My heart skipped when I saw "Folly Beach". When I was growing up, my family spend two wonderful weeks there every summer. Some of my best memories are from Folly Beach. I've always wanted to go back and see if the cabin Daddy rented is still there.
Looks like the sea-gulls are having a fine time.
ReplyDeleteNot a surf for board or body surfers, eh?

How beautiful - and how warm!
ReplyDeleteI've always loved the coast out of season. I wouldn't even worry too much about the temperature with scenes like this.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful scene, picture postcard stuff.
ReplyDeleteNice beach and a calm sea. The sand where the tide comes in looks coarse ...is it?
ReplyDeleteIt's millions of broken up seashells, crunchy when you walk on it.
DeleteOh ok. Thanks for the reply :)
DeleteA wide empty beach with a great view, nice photos.
ReplyDeleteIn Europe is wintert what a pity
ReplyDeleteLooks like you almost had the beach to yourselves . . . but what was the wind chill? :-D
ReplyDeleteThe beach in winter and apparently it still felt warm enough for shorts!

ReplyDeleteYour pictures have me missing my lake even more now. How nice it must be for you after cold winters to be able to enjoy the beaches in January.
ReplyDeleteLooks warmer than Minnesota and with non frozen water! What fun for you! WE are getting a warm spell tomorrow up to 20F!! :):)
